Jewellery can be made anywhere. We chose to make ours in Canada.
A full-circle story
We believe provenance matters. It is an important part of how we think about jewellery: where something comes from, the hands that transform it, and the story it carries. Real diamonds, two billion years in the making, worked by people who learned their craft here. We have always been inspired by our natural resources and landscape, and we work with Canadian materials, including natural Canadian diamonds.
More than ten years on, we are still at the bench and we continue to make our pieces right here at home. Being close to the making matters to us. The bench, the craftspeople, the materials and the process are all part of our everyday world. It is why we can tell you how a piece was designed, and who built it.
We both trained as jewellers at George Brown College in Toronto, and we never left the country that taught us. Nor have most of the people we collaborate with: goldsmiths, diamond setters, suppliers, and the photographers and creatives who help us tell the story. Canadian, almost all.
Designed with conviction and made by master goldsmiths, our work follows sustainable practices from source to studio.
Since our founding in 2015, every ATTIC piece has been made where we learned our craft. We would not want it any other way.
